Recommendations reflect the writer’s honest experience at the time of publication. We consider food, service, setting, value and relevance to our readers. Prices, menus, opening hours and ownership can change; readers should confirm practical details directly with a venue before travelling.
Complimentary experiences and partnerships
If a meal, stay, product or experience was provided without charge, we disclose that fact in the relevant story. Paid or sponsored work is labelled clearly. Commercial partners may check factual details but may not dictate our opinion or approve editorial copy.
Accuracy and sourcing
We verify names, dates, locations and material factual claims using direct observation, credible records or knowledgeable sources. Anonymous sources are used only when there is a strong public-interest reason and their identity is known to the editor.
Corrections
