The Tash’s archive is being assembled from menus, photographs and human memory—three sources that become more valuable when carefully connected.
Starting with the object
A menu or photograph is recorded at the best available quality along with ownership, approximate date and any visible clues. We preserve original wording where practical and distinguish physical evidence from later recollection.
Listening to memory
Former guests and team members can identify dishes, people and occasions that an object cannot explain. Memory is meaningful but fallible, so we label uncertainty and seek independent confirmation for dates and names.
Rights and respect
Contributors must own material or have permission to share it. Publication does not erase their ownership. We avoid exposing private information and consider requests from people shown in photographs, especially when context is sensitive.
An honest archive does not hide its gaps. It invites the community to help fill them carefully.
How to contribute
Email a clear scan or photograph, describe how you acquired it and provide the best date you know. Mention whether names may be published and retain the original item. We may edit descriptions for clarity, verify details and group related material into future collections.
