Complete Grant Payment Schedule for November 2025
– Regular old age pension for people 60 to 74 years old is R2315.
– People who are 75 & older get R2,335.
– Veterans who fought in wars receive R2,315.
– If you care for a child with special needs you can get R2,315.
– Parents with low income can apply for child support which pays R560.
– Foster parents get R1,250 to help raise children in their care.
– The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant gives R370 to people who need basic support.
Confirmed: SASSA Grant Disbursement Days This Month
Sassa showed better results in how it works and helps people during 2024/2025. The Department of Social Development says this is because of better leaders and new efforts to make things run smoothly. The agency has made good progress in fixing its services and getting work done faster than before.
Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe praised her department and partner agencies for making things better. She said they did a good job helping poor families get food and taking care of kids & old people. The minister thinks things got better because she hired new staff to do important work. Her team focused on helping people who needed it most. The changes made the whole department work better than before. This helped them do their main job of supporting people in need.
Latest SASSA Grant Amounts by Category
The social support program helped more people than ever before according to Tolashe. Over 28 million people got help from the program. This included 13.1 million kids who got money from the Child Support Grant and 4.1 million older people who got the Old Age Grant. Sassa spent 267 billion Rand on all social grants. This money also went to the Covid-19 relief grant which helped more than 9 million people who needed support during tough times. The number of people getting regular social grants went up a bit. It changed from 19.1 million people in March 2024 to 19.2 million in March 2025.
SASSA Celebrates Progress in Social Upliftment
Sassa has made progress but still faces some problems. Tolashe said they will keep visiting communities through their outreach program to make services better for everyone. Tolashe has been traveling around the country to hear what people & staff members have to say. She told the CEO to look into the issues that communities brought up & to give them answers quickly. She wants Sassa to keep working hard and find better ways to help people. They shouldn’t be satisfied with how things are now but should try to make their services even better.
