Who’s Getting the Raise? Roles, Departments & Levels Revealed

The new pay raise will help many government workers. Teachers and nurses will get better pay along with hospital employees. The changes also mean more money for police officers and emergency teams. Office workers and tax collectors will benefit too. Both the people who work directly with the public and those who help behind the scenes will get raises. Some jobs that will get higher pay are basic office workers, teachers, police officers and nurses. Office managers tax officers and engineers will also earn more. Most workers can expect their pay to go up between 7% and 12%.

2025 Pay Bands & Overtime Boost – What’s Changing in Your Payslip?

We have updated our salary ranges. Entry-level clerks will now earn R12,320 instead of R11000 which is a 12% boost. Nurses at mid-level will get R23,310 up from R21,000 showing an 11% increase. Admin officers will see their pay go up by 7%. Engineers and deputy directors will receive between 9% and 10% more money. The overtime pay will match these new salaries. This means people who work extra hours will get fair payment based on their updated wages. All overtime benefits will follow the new pay structure.
